Global superstar Tones And I has returned with her new single "Charlie," celebrating the release with a debut TV performance on late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! On the disco-inspired new track, Tones And I sounds bolder and looser as her voice floods the dancefloor with euphoria. Elaborating on the track, Tones And I explains, "Charlie was a song that came out of nowhere, it was done in 3 hours and we wrote the bass line first. It's about missing my dog Charlie and other things. It's a funky jam and I just wanted to have some fun with it."

The new single follows the singer's debut collaboration with GRAMMY award winning, multi-platinum-selling artist Macklemore on the triumphant new anthem 'CHANT.' Tones and I joined the Seattle born-and-based artist on the track's morning television debut as part of Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series in Central Park and is currently on tour with Macklemore for his North American live run with Imagine Dragons.

Tones And I kicked off 2022 with the reflective track, "Eyes Don't Lie," which notably marked the first new music from Tones And I since the release of her celebrated debut album, Welcome To The Madhouse.

Originally from Australia's Mornington Peninsula, Tones And I travelled to Byron Bay in early 2018 to take a chance at busking. On the first day she had crowds spilling onto the street. Tones quit her retail job and decided to make Byron her new home where she lived out of her van for a year, honing her songwriting and busking every weekend. A year later, Tones And I exploded into pop culture's consciousness with her global smash "Dance Monkey," the most Shazamed single of all time, and officially the 3rd most streamed song of all time on Spotify making the track the most streamed song ever by a female artist on the platform.
