KETTAMA

KETTAMA is a name that has, over the course of the last few years, become synonymous with a plethora of sounds. Characterised by pulsating grooves, rupturing drum patterns and gruelling bass, these elements combine to create the unmistakable sound of one of Ireland's greatest musical exports; a uniquely infectious sound that has become sought after on a global scale.

Since his emergence in 2018, KETTAMA's rise to notoriety within the electronic music scene has been nothing short of rampant; drawing a parallel with his equally rampant sound. Having undergone an evolution of sound identity in that time, KETTAMA has arrived at a sound that has seen the Irishman become something of a cult figure within his hometown of Galway, a.k.a G-Town; amassing an ardent following that has bled across the water into the UK, and beyond.

An unrelenting artist, KETTAMA's abilities are flexed in his groundbreaking production, wherein the producer has become a pioneer for 'Sledgehammer-House'; a wave of sound that sees hard-hitting bass and devious drums patterns infused into a euphoric, energy-fuelled soundscape. This soundscape is best exemplified through his recent EP, 'Fallen Angel'; which sees his breakout single 'Fly Away XTC' partnered amongst an armoured artillery of club-ready weapons of sound, some of which have been road tested on KETTAMA's ongoing pilgrimage of sound across the world, resulting in inevitable dancefloor-destruction. On top of his recent collaboration with dance music royalty Underworld. KETTAMA' sound garden are fully in bloom.

This pilgrimage continues long into the summer; from Vienna to New York, Melbourne to Edinburgh, Milan to Belfast, KETTAMA's live performances are rife with energy, and completely contagious. He embodies the spirit of his hometown; a seemingly immortal spirit that seeks to live on through his sound for millenia.
