SHORT BIO

Enrico Sangiuliano is a name you will have no doubt noted if you've dipped your toe in Techno waters. Standing as one of contemporary dance music's most influential talents, the Emilia native's impeccable back catalogue represents nothing but timeless No.1 records, and now only grows to hold more future classics. Aside from his chart-topping studio endeavours, the melodic pioneer's lengthy resume of iconic performances have thrilled and inspired in equal measure, making him one of the most discernibly authentic and balanced artists on the circuit.

Embarking on his newest exploration in the world of sound design, the production maestro recently announced the launch of his 10-chapter, transient record label NINETOZERO, along with its correlative SOLO all-night-long event series. A sonic storyteller with deep and meaningful narratives at the core of his many opuses, Enrico's time-limited imprint serves as an intervention to the notion of perpetual music, opting for an ephemeral concept that challenges audiences to redefine their listening habits. His corresponding SOLO series gives new perspective and insight into his sound palette as a DJ, as he extends the NINETOZERO ethos into an immersive live experience that highlights the evanescent beauty of contemporary club culture.

FULL BIO

Enrico Sangiuliano is a name you will have no doubt noted if you've dipped your toe in Techno waters. Standing as one of contemporary dance music's most influential talents, the Emilia native's impeccable back catalogue represents nothing but timeless No.1 records, and now only grows to hold more future classics. Aside from his chart-topping studio endeavours, the melodic pioneer's lengthy resume of iconic performances have thrilled and inspired in equal measure, making him one of the most discernibly authentic and balanced artists on the circuit.

With Italy as his playground and the explosion of its illegal rave scene stirring an innate desire to compose and perform, Enrico's career launched modestly, driven by a sheer passion for electronic music and its infinite sources of creativity. The catalyst for international success came in 2015, with Beatport's highest selling techno track of the year; his remix of DJ Boris' "Can You Hear Me." Kickstarting his career in the most emphatic manner, the cut, along with his 4-track "Moon Rocks" EP, paved the way for a series of further hits that earned him the title of Beatport's No.1 best-selling techno artist for 3 consecutive years; 2016, 2017 and 2018. He was now at the forefront of a new generation of artists leading the resurgence of timeless techno, and with it, came a vast new fanbase representing both seasoned devotees and green techno heads.

2018 marked another seminal year in Sangiuliano's career, with the June release of his long awaited debut LP, "Biomorph." Delivering on breakbeat and downtempo rhythms never before heard by his fans, the concept album reigned supreme at No.1 for 6 weeks, with his stand-out "Hidden T" following in the footsteps of the chart-topping "Blooming Era" and "Astral Projection." The album's impact was felt across the festival circuit, and with its longevity accomplished, Enrico took a break from studio time to focus on his flourishing tour schedule. During this time, the techno luminary graced the decks at almost every major dance music event in the world, curating emotively-driven and anthemic sets that skyrocketed his demand in the scape. Conducive to both festival mainstages and dark, gritty warehouses alike, Enrico's anthology of hard-hitting records were welcomed staples within his epic performances, culminating rapturously unifying moments which still circulate the community to this day.

Following this 15 month release hiatus, Enrico joined the industry's finest voices to commemorate CJ Bolland's timeless classic for Drumcode's 'Camargue 2019' remix pack. As with all of his compositions, the rework resumed its No.1 position and he was subsequently tapped for 'Best Producer' at the DJ Awards in Ibiza. Another long-lived addition to his unrivalled discography, the cut's inspiration fuelled his motivation to perform and experience the record's impact first hand. Since then, Enrico has served as a mainstay at such events as Tomorrowland, Sonar, Awakenings and ULTRA Music Festival, as well as dominating the global club circuit, and continues to prove himself as an all-round aficionado of our beloved genre.

More recently, Sangiuliano joined his partner Charlotte de Witte for their debut collaborative venture; taking on the hugely influential, self-titled classic by Age Of Love. Unsurprisingly, the remix enjoyed 5 months at No.1 and closed out the year as Beatport's best selling techno track. Presenting a maturity well beyond his years in both production value and track selection, the esteemed sound designer has become a firm favourite for the modern audience, carving out a career path that is not only authentic, but wholesomely organic in its upwards trajectory. Having entered into the upper echelon of dance music, Enrico still presents as an untapped act, with the scope and unequivocal artistry to lead the circuit through its next evolutionary chapter.

An extended electronic music journey from silence to silence and without the bounds of genre and tempo, Sangiuliano redefines the role of the DJ, breaking the cycle of disparity between artist and audience and instead, becoming the facilitator of a musical odyssey that nods to the pre-commercialised era of dance music. Launching in his old city of Milan in 2018, Enrico has since brought the all-night-long series to some the of world's most renowned venues, including Kompass (Ghent), Tempio del Futuro Perduto (Milan), Stereo (Montreal), Smolna (Warsaw), Nordstern (Basel), MMA (Munich), and now continues the saga under the NINETOZERO umbrella.
