Ben Böhmer

German Electronic music's brightest rising star, 30-year old Berlin based producer and live act Ben Böhmer continues to go from strength to strength. His sophomore album 'Begin Again,' released on Anjunadeep in September 2021, has since attained over 135 million streams.

The album was written entirely during a period where Ben and his fiancé were separated on other sides of the world due to the global travel ban. The emotions that this entailed are laden throughout its sonic textures and songwriting. 'Begin Again' seamlessly cascades from laidback and introspective instrumentals to searing and rich club music, with elevating features from Gordi, lau.ra, PBSR and JONAH that perfectly portray the longing and uncertainty that surround his love life at the time.

In support of the album Ben embarked on a 75,000 ticket headline tour at the start of 2022. All the dates were sold out months in advance and included marquee performances at Brixton Academy and The Roundhouse, London, UFO in Berlin, Reunion Park in Melbourne, The Fonda Theatre, LA and Brooklyn Steel in New York.

He followed the tour up with a string of high profile festival performances including Glastonbury, Primavera, Sziget, Lost Village, EDC and Life Is Beautiful and this Autumn debuted his Portraet series in the US for the first time following a successful launch in Ibiza last summer. The series saw him headline sold out shows at iconic venues such as The Shrine in LA and Brooklyn Mirage in NY where he was supported by the likes of TSHA and Barry Can't Swim.

This October he made a triumphant return musically with the anthemic 'One Last Call' — His first original song since the release of 'Begin Again.' This single also marked a move to Ninja Tune where Ben now sits alongside a multitude of other acclaimed Electronic producers including Bonobo and Odesza.
